Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream provides unique, long-lasting protection from bodily fluids whilst moisturising the skin. It is recommended to prevent skin breakdown on intact and injured skin, and its highly concentrated formula means a little goes a long way.

Suggested Applications

• Protection for skin at risk from damage associated with incontinence
• As a moisturiser for very dry skin
• Use as part of a daily skin care routine (night and day) to prevent sore skin from incontinence

1. Skin should be clean and dry prior to application of Cavilon durable barrier cream. 2. Apply Cavilon durable barrier cream sparingly (in pea-size amounts) to cover entire affected area. Repeat as necessary. 3. If the skin feels oily, too much has been applied. Re-application is recommended at every third episode of incontinence. 4. When used to moisturise severely dry skin apply daily or as needed

• Apply sparingly. If the after-feel is oily, you have applied too much
• Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream may increase the adherence of some adhesive products. Persons with fragile skin should avoid using the cream under all adhesive products
• Not to be used on infected areas of the skin – for example fungal infections.
