What is Kwells Travel Sickness tablets for?
Kwells tablets contains hyoscine hydrobromide which is used for the prevention of travel sickness.
How should you use Kwells Travel Sickness tablets?
Tablets may be sucked, chewed, or swallowed. They have a scoreline so can be halved if necessary.Kwells tablets can be taken up to 20-30 minutes before travelling to prevent travel sickness, or at the onset of nausea.
Adults should take 1 tablet every 6 hours, as required. Do not take more than 3 times in 24 hours. Elderly patients should consult their regular doctor before taking Kwells tablets.
Kwells Travel Sickness Tablets should not be taken by children under the age of 10. Do not take this product if you are allergic to hyoscine hydrobromide or any of the other listed ingredients. Do not take these tablets if you suffer from any of the following conditions:
- Glaucoma
- Blockage of the intestines (Paralytic ileus)
- Narrowing of the stomach outlet (Pyloric stenosis)
- Myasthenia gravis
- Enlarged prostate gland
